How the Ability Database Works

The database groups abilities by family rather than by every tier record. Active abilities, passives and talents are tagged from verified game descriptions, then linked to the operators and specializations that can use them.

How to find abilities for a build

Use the operator, specialization and effect filters to find abilities for a build. Effect tags are applied only when the ability text contains a verified combat term such as damage, critical, movement or grenade.

How many abilities are in the database?

The current database contains 495 verified ability and talent records across 201 families.

Can I filter abilities by operator?

Yes. Choose an operator to see abilities and talents that operator can actually use, including talent-spec abilities.

Can I filter by specialization?

Yes. Filter by a combat specialization such as Assault or Sharpshooter. Character-specific paths stay labelled so Padawan and Astromech are not treated as freely choosable classes.

How do I find Critical Chance abilities?

Use the Critical effect chip or search for crit. Results only include abilities whose verified text mentions critical chance, critical damage or a critical-hit interaction.

Are talents included?

Yes. Talents are included alongside active abilities and passives, and can be isolated with the Talent type filter.

Can I use an ability in Build Planner?

When a family exists in the planner data, open it with the operator who can use it. If the current operator cannot take that specialization, the planner does not silently create an illegal build.

Does every ability have its own page?

No. Abilities are aggregated in this explorer. Signature families can expand inline instead of generating hundreds of thin URLs.
