Zone & Influence hub
All Zones, Influence & Regional Rewards in STAR WARS Zero Company
Influence is not a wallet you spend — it is your standing inside one Zone, and it only ever counts towards that Zone’s reward track. This page is the map of those twelve tracks: what each Zone pays out, how Influence gets there, and which Zone answers the problem you have right now.
How Zone Influence Works
- 1Activity
- 2or a Contact you place
- 3Zone Influence
- 4Reward track progress
Influence belongs to a Zone. It is regional progression, not a general Credits-style currency: you cannot move it, spend it, or carry it to another Zone.
Missions and Operations pay into the Zone the activity belongs to. Contacts are the one source you aim yourself. Either way, the influence lands in a single Zone and works only towards that Zone's reward track.
- 12Zones
- 15Named regional rewards
- 24Decisions that grant Influence

Quick answer
Contacts Let You Choose Where Influence Goes
There are two ways Influence reaches a Zone, and they differ in exactly one thing: who picks the Zone.
Activity Influence
- 1Mission or Operation
- 2the Zone it is run in
- 3Influence paid into that Zone
The activity decides the Zone. You choose which activity to run.
Contact Influence
- 1A Contact
- 2the Zone you assign it to
- 3Influence paid into that Zone
You decide the Zone. The Contact is not tied to where you earned it.
✦ Because a Contact can go anywhere, it is the only Influence you can aim at a specific reward. That is also why saving one is a real option rather than a loss.

How to Get Zone Influence
Four routes, and they are not interchangeable: two are aimed by the game, two are aimed by you.
Missions and Operations
- 1Mission / Operation
- 2the Zone it is run in
- 3Influence
A completed activity pays Influence into the Zone it belongs to. The activity decides the Zone; you do not.
The collected activity records carry a Zone tag for every mission but not for every Operation, so this page lists Zone-tagged activity only.
Contacts
- 1Contact
- 2you choose a Zone on the Influence Lens
- 3Influence
A Contact is a headcount of available connections. You assign them to a Zone yourself, so this is the only Influence you fully control.
Den Networking upgrades
- 1Persuasion I / II
- 2every Contact you place is worth more
- 3Influence
Persuasion raises the Influence a Contact is worth; it does not add Contacts.
Den Zone-band upgrades
- 1Core / Mid / Outer Influence upgrade
- 2+5 Influence in that band
- 3Influence
These grant Influence outright, in one Zone band at a time, without an activity or a Contact.
Den upgrades that feed a Zone
Networking — per placed Contact
- Persuasion I: Placing a Contact provides +2 Influence
- Persuasion II: Placing a Contact provides an additional +3 Influence
Direct grants by band
- Core Zones
- Immediately grants +5 Influence in Core Zones.
- Immediately grants +5 Influence in Core Zones.
- Mid Zones
- Immediately grants +5 Influence in Mid Zones
- Immediately grants +5 Influence in Mid Zones
- Outer Zones
- Immediately grants +5 Influence in Outer Zones
- Immediately grants +5 Influence in Outer Zones
✦ A band grant and a Contact are different resources. The band grant is spent on an upgrade and lands immediately; a Contact is a connection you place at the Holotable.
Contacts
Contacts and Persuasion
Persuasion does not give you more Contacts. It raises what each Contact is worth once you place it.
What a Contact is
- A connection you place by hand
- Not tied to the Zone you earned it in
- The only Influence you can aim
What Persuasion changes
- The value of a placed Contact
- Not the number of Contacts you hold
What the data states
- Persuasion I: +2 Influence per placed Contact
- Persuasion II: a further +3 Influence
- The base value of a Contact is not in the collected data
✦ Because the base value is not stated anywhere in the verified data, this page can tell you what Persuasion adds but never what a Contact is worth on its own — and it will not borrow that number from anywhere else.
Calculator
How Much Influence Will My Contacts Add?
This adds up the Persuasion bonus only. It is the part of Contact Influence the data states outright.
- Persuasion bonus
- +0
- Influence per placed Contact
- 3 Contacts
- +0
- Influence added on top of the base value
- Target
- Zone Cresh
- Core East
✦ This total is the Persuasion bonus, not the Influence the Contacts will place. What a Contact is worth before Persuasion is not in the verified data, and this page does not track your current Influence, so it cannot say whether a reward is next.
Taxonomy
Reward Types
A regional reward is not just what it pays; it is when it pays. These are the shapes the twelve tracks are built from.
| Type | What it means | Rewards across all Zones |
|---|---|---|
| Recurring | Pays out again every time the trigger happens. | 2 |
| Permanent | Applies once and then stays on for the rest of the campaign. | 4 |
| Capacity | Raises a ceiling, so it is only worth what you fill it with. | 4 |
| One-time | A single payout that does not repeat. | 2 |
| Gear | An item: a Utility item, a weapon mod or an exotic reward. | 1 |
| System upgrade | Changes how another system behaves rather than adding a number. | 2 |
✦ Every track listed on this page is tagged from the wording of the reward itself, so a recurring payout is never presented like a one-off. Where a reward's amount is resolved by the game, the tag is still applied but the number is left out.
Problem solver
Find the Zone for My Goal
Pick the problem your campaign has right now. The answer is a shortlist of relevant Zones, not a ranking.
Pick a problem above and the Zones that address it appear here, with the rewards that address it.
✦ This section is titled Relevant Zones on purpose. Which of them deserves your Influence first is a different question, and it is the one the priority guide answers.
Worked examples
What Each Kind of Track Looks Like
Each example below is the Zone the reward data points at for that theme, not a hand-picked favourite.
Intel economy
Zone Cresh
The Intel track raises both the ceiling and the income.
- Intel Gathering — +5 Intel each Mission
- +25 Intel Cap — Increases Maximum Intel
If your campaigns stall because Intel runs dry between Operations, this is the track to read first.
Open the full track →Campaign economy
Zone Leth
The economy track pays Credits every Mission and improves what the Black Market stocks.
- Smuggling Routes — Higher Quality Black Market items
- Scavenging Techniques — +250 Credits each Mission
- Blue Milk Pancakes — Bond XP for everyone!
Both halves of this track compete with Den construction, healing and recruitment for the same Credits.
Open the full track →Build flexibility
Zone Forn
The build track changes every Operator at once.
- +1 Weapon Mod Slot — All Operators gain +1 Weapon Mod Slot
A roster-wide mod slot is why a Zone reward can be a build decision rather than a campaign one.
Open the full track →Den construction
Zone Dorn
The construction track raises how much you can build at once.
- Upgrade Components — +1 Upgrade Facility Slot
It pays out as time rather than as a stat, which is why it is easy to undervalue.
Open the full track →Survival and roster depth
Zone Aurek
The survival track hardens every Operator and can widen the roster.
- Extra Padding — +4 Health for all Operators
- Crew Quarters — Roster Capacity
Health applies to everyone you field, so it holds its value no matter which squad you take.

Comparator
Compare Zones
Put two Zones side by side. The table states facts; it deliberately does not name a winner.
| Zone Cresh | Zone Leth | |
|---|---|---|
| Region band | Core East | Outer East |
| Reward themes | Intel, Utility Items | Credits, Bond XP, Black Market |
| Recurring reward | Intel Gathering | Scavenging Techniques |
| Capacity reward | +25 Intel Cap | — |
| Permanent reward | — | — |
| Gear or system | — | Smuggling Routes |
| Named rewards on record | 2 | 3 |
| Choose it when | Need more Intel; Need Utility items | Need more Bond XP; Need more Credits; Need a better Black Market |
✦ Both columns are read from the reward data, so an empty cell means the Zone does not carry that kind of reward — it is not a ranking. Choose between them on the priority guide, where the next reward and your current Influence are the inputs.
Activity by Zone
Missions by Zone
Zone-tagged activity, so you can see where an Influence payout comes from before you plan a Cycle around it.
| Zone | Band | Missions | With detail pages | Representative activity |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Zone Leth | Outer East | 19 | 2 | |
| Zone Herf | Outer West | 19 | 5 | |
| Zone Grek | Mid East | 14 | 4 | |
| Zone Krill | Outer South East | 12 | 1 | |
| Zone Cresh | Core East | 11 | 1 | |
| Zone Isk | Outer South West | 11 | 1 | |
| Zone Aurek | Core West | 9 | 3 | |
| Zone Forn | Mid South East | 9 | 3 | |
| Zone Esk | Mid South West | 9 | 2 | |
| Zone Jenth | Outer South | 9 | 1 | |
| Zone Besh | Core South | 1 | 1 |
✦ 11 of the 12 Zones have activity carrying a map-region tag in the collected data. Operations award Influence as well, but their records are not Zone-tagged, so they are not attributed to a Zone here.
Decisions
Choices That Affect Zone Influence
24 collected decisions award Influence as an outcome, in amounts of 3, 5, 7 Influence.
| Decision | Options that grant Influence | Amounts | Full decision |
|---|---|---|---|
| Where's Geryon? | 1 | 3 | View full choice → |
| Witness Protection | 1 | 5 | View full choice → |
| An Annoying Acquaintance | 1 | 3 | View full choice → |
| Mygeeto in Need | 1 | 3 | View full choice → |
| Meet the Black Sun Syndicate | 2 | 3 / 5 | View full choice → |
| Meet the Techno Union | 2 | 3 / 5 | View full choice → |
| Upgrade Opportunity | 2 | 3 | View full choice → |
| Black Sun Syndicate Meeting | 1 | 3 | View full choice → |
| Techno Union Meeting | 1 | 3 | View full choice → |
| Suspicious Equipment | 1 | 3 | View full choice → |
| OT_0501 | 1 | 3 | View full choice → |
| OT_0503 | 1 | 3 | View full choice → |
✦ The amount is exact and comes from the decision record. The Zone it lands in is not part of that record, so it is decided by where the activity is run rather than by the choice itself.
Quick guidance
Should You Spend a Contact Now?
A short decision order. It does not tell you which Zone is best — it tells you whether now is the moment to decide.
1.Do you know which reward you are working towards?
- No
- Hold the Contact. Influence placed without a target is still progress, but it cannot be aimed at anything.
- Yes
- Go to the next question.
2.Will this Contact meaningfully move that Zone?
- No
- Hold it, or place it in a Zone where the next reward is closer. Nothing is lost by waiting.
- Yes
- Go to the next question.
3.Is the target reward in the Core, Mid or Outer band?
- No
- Any Zone answers this one — pick the Zone you are already closest to.
- Yes
- A Core, Mid or Outer Influence upgrade grants a flat +5 in that band and can cross a line on its own.
4.Are you placing Contacts to spread Influence evenly?
- No
- Then place them where you are already strong.
- Yes
- Reconsider. Progress is per Zone, so spreading Influence across twelve Zones leaves every track far from its next reward.
Spread evenly, twelve Zones leave every track short of its next reward. Progress is per Zone, so treat Influence as a directed resource and evaluate the next reward before you commit Contacts or choose an Influence-oriented activity.
Data trust
Why this page does not print Influence thresholds
Zone names, reward names and reward effects on this page come from the map-region assets and the localized regional-reward strings the game ships. The Influence threshold that each reward sits behind is not part of that verified data, so it is not printed here — not in the Zone cards, not in the reward finder, and not in the Contact tool.
- Reward tracks are shown in order because the data records them per Zone, not because the page knows the gap between them.
- The Contact tool reports the Influence a Contact is worth and never claims a reward has been unlocked.
- Where the game resolves an amount at runtime, the sentence is kept and the unresolved number is dropped.

Questions
Zones & Influence FAQ
How does Zone Influence work?
Influence is a reflection of your connections inside one Zone. Every Mission, Operation, Contact and band upgrade adds Influence to a specific Zone, and that Zone’s own reward track is the only thing it counts towards. Moving Influence between Zones is not possible.
Is Influence a currency?
No. Credits are spent at the Black Market, the Upgrade Facility, Recruitment and the Medbay. Influence is regional progression: it is recorded per Zone and unlocks that Zone’s rewards in order.
How many Zones are in Zero Company?
There are 12. They are grouped into Core, Mid and Outer bands, and each one runs its own reward track.
What are all 12 Zones?
Zone Cresh (Core East), Zone Besh (Core South), Zone Aurek (Core West), Zone Grek (Mid East), Zone Forn (Mid South East), Zone Esk (Mid South West), Zone Dorn (Mid West), Zone Leth (Outer East), Zone Jenth (Outer South), Zone Krill (Outer South East), Zone Isk (Outer South West), Zone Herf (Outer West).
How do you get Influence?
Missions and Operations pay Influence into the Zone the activity belongs to, Contacts add Influence to a Zone you choose yourself, and Core, Mid and Outer Influence upgrades at the Den grant it outright in one band.
Do Missions give Influence?
Yes. Every mission asset carries a map-region tag, so its Influence is paid into that Zone. The exact amount a given Mission pays is resolved by the game at runtime and is not in the collected data.
Do Operations give Influence?
Operations are run from the Holotable and several of them award Influence, but the collected Operation records do not carry a Zone tag, so this page does not assign them to a Zone.
What are Contacts?
Contacts are a headcount of available connections. You assign them to a Zone yourself on the Influence Lens at the Holotable, which makes them the only Influence source you aim by hand.
Where do you spend Contacts?
On the Influence Lens at the Holotable, where you assign them to a Zone. There is no shop that takes Contacts.
How much Influence does a Contact give?
The collected data states what Persuasion adds to a Contact, not what a Contact is worth on its own. Persuasion I adds +2 Influence per placed Contact and Persuasion II adds a further +3, so the two upgrades together are worth +5 per Contact on top of the base value.
Does Persuasion increase Contact Influence?
Yes. Persuasion I and Persuasion II are Networking upgrades, and both exist only to raise the Influence a placed Contact is worth.
Do Contacts work in any Zone?
Yes. A Contact is not tied to the Zone you earned it in, which is what separates Contact Influence from Mission and Operation Influence.
Which Zone gives more Intel?
Intel rewards are carried by Zone Cresh. Check each Zone's reward track here before committing Contacts.
Which Zone increases Intel cap?
The Intel cap reward sits on the same Zone track as the recurring per-Mission Intel. The page lists it under the Intel tag; use the reward finder above to jump straight to it.
Which Zone gives more Credits?
Credits rewards are carried by Zone Leth, Zone Jenth. One of them pays a fixed amount every Mission, which is the difference between a one-off payout and a campaign-long income.
Which Zone gives a Weapon Mod Slot?
A roster-wide Weapon Mod Slot is carried by Zone Forn, Zone Jenth. It applies to every Operator, not to one build.
Which Zone increases roster capacity?
Roster Capacity is carried by Zone Aurek and Zone Krill. Both entries reference the same capacity fact, and the amount is resolved by the game rather than stored in the string.
Which Zone improves the Black Market?
Black Market rewards are carried by Zone Leth and Zone Jenth. One raises the quality of what the market stocks, the other adds to how many items it carries.
Which Zone gives more Health?
A flat Health bonus for every Operator is carried by Zone Aurek and Zone Esk.
Should I spread Influence between Zones?
Progress is per Zone, so spreading Influence across all twelve leaves every track short of its next reward. Treat Influence as a directed resource and decide what you are working towards before you place Contacts.
Should I save Contacts?
A Contact is not worth more later, but it is worth more somewhere specific. Hold them until you know which Zone you are pushing, then place them there.
Can Choices give Zone Influence?
Yes. 24 decisions award Influence as an outcome, in amounts of 3, 5, 7 Influence. A decision record states the amount but not the Zone it pays into, so the Zone is decided by where the activity is run.
What are Regional Rewards?
Every Zone carries its own set of Influence rewards. Because the reward belongs to the Zone, the same Influence spent in a different Zone works towards a completely different payout.
Why is a Zone listed without a named reward?
Zone Besh, Zone Isk carry reward-system and item references instead of a named regional reward string, so this page lists what those references resolve to rather than inventing a reward name the data does not contain.
What is the best Zone?
That depends on the next reward and on what your campaign is short of, so this page answers "which Zone touches the problem you have" and leaves the ordering to the Zone reward priority guide.
Next step
Which Zone Should I Prioritize?
Not this page. This page answers what each Zone does and how Influence gets there; the ordering question needs your current Influence and your next reward.
