After the final mission
STAR WARS Zero Company Endgame Explained
The Infinite Coil is the last Main Story Mission. After it the campaign runs its closing sequence and then the run is over: the released build does not reopen into an endless Mission board, and there is no official New Game Plus. This page covers what actually happens after the final mission and how to plan the next run.

Quick answer
Current Endgame Status
Four questions get asked more than the rest: what the last mission is, whether there is an epilogue, whether anything continues after the credits, and whether there is a New Game Plus. This is all four at once.
Endgame
◆ Shipped campaign dataYes — the campaign ends with The Infinite Coil
Epilogue

How to read the marks
- ◆ Official — Stated by the publisher, or printed in the shipped game text and patch notes.
- ◆ Shipped campaign data — Read from the campaign records this site publishes.
- ○ Current-release observation — Reported by players of the released build. Useful context, never a rule.
- · Not verified — The production dataset does not close this question, so this page does not either.
The last two rows are the pair people confuse. “No official New Game+” is a confirmed answer. “What exactly carries over” is not, and this page will not fill that in from somewhere else.
The final mission
What Is the Final Mission?
This page places the final mission in the campaign. It does not fight it — the objectives, the enemies and the encounter flow belong to the mission page.

13 Main Story Missions are recorded in order, and the last one is chained to nothing. That is what makes it the end of the story rather than one more step in it.
The mission record holds 20 objective rows. None of them are printed here on purpose.
Before you commit
Before Starting the Final Mission
This page starts after the commitment, so the review before it lives on its own page. Four questions are enough to decide whether you need to open it.
Unfinished companion content?
A chain step is a Mission, and it stops being reachable when the run closes.
Missable achievements?
Anything bound to content you have already passed needs the checker below.
Injured final squad?
Injuries decide what you can field. Treatment costs Cycles, and this is the last Cycle you have.
Operations still pending?
An Operation resolves inside its Cycle. One that resolves after the ending resolves into nothing.
The checklist does not get reprinted here. Running it twice is how a page teaches a player to ignore it — this section exists to say the review exists.
Epilogue
What Happens in the Epilogue?
This section says what the closing sequence is and what to check before it ends. It does not narrate it.
- When the last fight ends, the campaign moves into its closing sequence instead of returning you to the Holotable.
- The shipped campaign order records no Mission after The Infinite Coil, which is why the epilogue reads as a sequence rather than as another Mission.
- The closing sequence is reported to include optional conversations — the last chance to hear final dialogue from the squad you brought.
- The run is concluded by talking to Bennic at the Den. That conversation is the step that ends the adventure.
Before concluding the epilogue, talk to any companions whose final dialogue you want to hear.
This section is spoiler-light by default: it says what the epilogue is, not what happens in it.
Epilogue checklist
0 / 4The checklist stops there on purpose. Buying final gear, finishing region rewards or clearing a Den project are not epilogue actions: by the time the closing sequence is running, the campaign systems that would serve them have already stopped mattering.
After the credits
Can You Keep Playing After the Credits?
Everything in this section carries the current-release mark, because that is what it is: what players of the released build actually report.
Not in the normal sense, in the current release.
○ Current-release observationPlayers who finish the campaign report the same thing: the run closes out. There is no reopened Mission board, no endless flow of random Missions and Operations, and no post-credits sandbox to clean up in.
You should not plan on
- Finishing remaining companion missions
- Levelling Bonds indefinitely
- Completing Den progression after the ending
- Farming endless random Missions or Operations
- Picking up a regional reward you skipped
Wording, on purpose
The wording matters: this is the current release, not a promise about the game forever. The publisher has announced no post-launch content, and nothing here should be read as "this will never change".
This is the difference between “there is no postgame right now” and “there will never be a postgame”. The first one is what the current release supports; the second one is a promise this page is not entitled to make.
Community-observed current behaviour
Reloading a completed run is reported to put you back before the final mission rather than into a dedicated post-credits state. That is an observation of the released build, not a production rule this site can verify.
Beskar and limited rollback
Do not assume the same cleanup flexibility as a standard campaign. If the run was started under a restricted save setting, check it before the ending rather than after.
What this page is not
This page does not explain how to work around a save rule, and it never reads your save. It only names the decision.
A save is a decision you make once. The Point of No Return checklist exists so that decision is informed rather than hopeful.
Why do you still receive final-mission rewards?
The final mission can still produce ordinary campaign rewards
The released build resolves the last Mission like any other: its rewards arrive, and then the campaign moves into its closing sequence instead of reopening the board. A reward appearing at the end is not evidence of a hidden postgame.
The mission record this site publishes carries no reward rows for the final mission, so "the rewards arrive" is a current-release observation rather than a data fact. It is worth saying anyway, because players ask about it.
New Game+
Does Zero Company Have New Game+?
This is the one question on the page the publisher answers directly, so it gets the publisher’s answer rather than a community one.
Official status
◆ OfficialNo.
The publisher’s FAQ says there is no New Game Plus, and that a subsequent playthrough unlocks certain customization options instead.
What does exist
◆ OfficialReplay unlocks
Some customization options
Those are two different systems, and this page does not merge them. There is no “New Game+ Lite” here — that would be a name this site invented.
What this page will not say
The exact unlock list and the carryover rules are not recovered from the production dataset, so this page does not name operators, origins, cosmetics or anything else that carries across.
If the publisher ever adds New Game Plus, it gets its own page on this site rather than being folded into this one.
Another playthrough
What Unlocks on Another Playthrough?
A short answer that holds up beats a long one assembled from other people’s summaries, so this section is deliberately the shortest on the page.
Confirmed
◆ OfficialThe publisher confirms that some customization options unlock on subsequent playthroughs.
Not verified here
· Not verifiedSpecific unlock list: not fully verified in the current production dataset.
Why the list is short
Third-party summaries describe a longer list. This page does not repeat it, because nothing in the dataset this site publishes confirms which entries are real. A short, sourced answer beats a complete-looking one that is assembled from other people’s guesses.
What cannot be cleaned up
What Cannot Be Relied On After the Ending?
This is the list players are looking for when they realise the run is almost over. It is framed as reliance, not as obligation.
| System | What to assume | Where it lives |
|---|---|---|
| Companion Stories | Do them before the finale if you want to see them this run. | Open |
| Bonds | Do them before the finale if a pair unlock matters to your squad. | Open |
| Den progression | Do it before the finale if you need the result in this run. | Open |
| Regional rewards | Do them before the finale if the reward pays out immediately. | Open |
| Timed Missions | They resolve on their own timer, which does not wait for the ending. | Open |
| Achievements | Check the conditions before the finale — the checker below does exactly that. | Open |
None of these rows says you must complete everything. The campaign deliberately puts more on the board than one run can hold. The row is here because “I will clean it up after the credits” is the assumption that stops being safe.
Can You Finish Bonds After the Ending?
Not through a normal postgame Mission loop.
A Bond unlock is earned through content, and the content closes with the campaign. If a pair matters to you, treat it as a before-the-finale item — which is exactly what the Point of No Return checklist is for.

Endings and choices
Do Choices Change the Ending?
This is the section where guide sites usually get creative. This one states the boundary instead, because the ending graph is not closed in the dataset this site publishes.
Choices change campaign states and relationships. This page does not classify that as separate endings.
Zero Company has a lot of decisions, and they demonstrably change what happens during the campaign, who you bring and what you unlock. Whether the ending state itself branches is a different question, and it is not recovered from the dataset this site publishes.
So this page does not publish an "all endings" list. Where the ending state itself is verified, this page can describe variations; until then it describes the structure and stops.
No multiple-ending count is claimed on this page, and none should be read into it.
Campaign ending
The run concludes through a different ending state.
Epilogue dialogue
The same conclusion, with different conversations around it.
Operator state
Who is present, injured or absent at the end of the run.
Choice callback
An earlier decision is referenced later without changing the conclusion.
Those four are kept separate so a different line of dialogue is never published as a different ending. If the verified ending graph closes later, the distinction is already here to hold it.
Vocabulary
Endgame vs Postgame vs New Game+
Most confusion on this topic is one word being used for another, so the page defines them before it uses them again.
| Term | What this site means by it |
|---|---|
| Endgame | The last Missions and the closing phase of a campaign. |
| Epilogue | The story wrap-up after the final battle. |
| Postgame | Playable content that continues the same campaign after the credits. |
| New Game+ | Starting a new campaign with defined inheritance rules. |
| Replay / new campaign | Starting another run from the beginning. Not the same thing as New Game+. |

What would change this page
A postgame, an official New Game Plus, or a published carryover rule. Any of the three only has to be updated here — the rest of the page reads from this status.
Checked against the publisher’s information and the current release. The latest official patch notes this page has seen are for 1.1, which is a stability and bug-fix patch and does not announce a postgame or a New Game Plus. If that changes, this page is the one place that has to change with it.
After the campaign
What Should You Do After Beating the Game?
The useful answer is not “nothing”. A finished run is the point at which the campaign’s design becomes visible: it never intended one run to hold everything.
There is no normal postgame loop to fall back on, and that is not the same as having nothing left to do. The campaign is built so that one run cannot hold everything, so the honest answer is planning, not grinding.
- 01Review what you missed rather than what you failed at — the campaign is designed to skip content by construction.
- 02Check which achievements are still open, and which ones a fresh campaign would need.
- 03Decide what you want to be different next run, which is a more useful question than "what is strongest".
- 04Pick the campaign settings that match it, including difficulty and Permadeath or Beskar.
- 05Route the companion stories you did not see differently, so the same Cycles buy different content.
- 06Try the choices and builds you passed over — those are the replay value the publisher points at.
Where the campaign stands
13 Main Story Missions. The last one is chained to nothing.
Achievements recorded: 53. Of those, 0 are past the point this run can reach.
Plan a different run
Plan a Different Second Campaign
A second run is not a stronger version of the first one. It is a different set of things you decided to care about, so the page routes on intent instead of ranking anything.

Next campaign goals

Pick at least one goal and the pages that serve it appear here.
Recommended starting points
Recommended tools
Two runs, two different sets of goals — that is the whole design. Nothing here recommends a build, a difficulty or a companion order, because those only make sense against what you decided to want.
What did you miss
What Did You Miss?
This is the section a player reads right after the credits, when they realise how much was still on the board. It is here to answer the question honestly rather than apologetically.
The campaign puts more timed activity on the board than a single run can hold, and it does that on purpose: not every Mission, Operation or companion arc fits in one campaign. A run that skipped content is a run played as designed, not a run played badly.
- A missed companion arc is a next-run target rather than a failure.
- A missed timed Mission was competing with something else you chose to do.
- Alternate choices are only reachable by starting another campaign, which is the point of them.
Spoilers
Spoiler Controls
This page works in the same room as the ending, so it is stricter here than anywhere else on the site. The default is the strictest level.
Always shown
- Which Mission is last, and that nothing is chained after it.
- That an epilogue exists, and that the run is concluded by a conversation.
- What the current release does after the credits, marked as an observation.
- The official New Game+ answer, and the confirmed existence of replay unlocks.
Hidden until you ask
- The objective structure of the final mission.
- What the closing sequence contains.
- Character and story outcomes — which stay unpublished at every level, because the ending state is not verified.
The switch is in the hero, so it is reachable from the top of the page rather than buried under the material it hides. Nothing on this page narrates an ending beat at the default level.
FAQ
Endgame Questions
What is the final mission in Zero Company?
The Infinite Coil. It is the last record in the Main Story order, and nothing is chained after it.
Is The Infinite Coil the last mission?
Yes. It is Main Story 13 of 13 in the shipped campaign order.
What happens after The Infinite Coil?
The campaign runs a closing sequence — the epilogue — and then the run is over. No Mission is chained after the final one, so there is no further campaign step behind a Mission.
Is there an Epilogue?
Yes. The last fight is followed by a closing sequence, and the run is concluded by a final conversation rather than by another Mission.
Can you keep playing after the credits?
Not in the normal sense, in the current release. Players report the campaign closing out rather than reopening as a Mission board, so plan this run as the one that ends.
Is there postgame content?
No normal postgame loop is observed in the current release. That is a current-release answer, not a statement that the game will never have one.
Are there endless Missions after the story?
No. The campaign does not open an endless Mission board after the ending in the current release.
Can you keep doing Operations after the ending?
Do not plan on it. An Operation resolves inside the Cycle it runs in, and the campaign stops advancing Cycles once the run is concluded.
Can you keep levelling Bonds?
Not through a postgame Mission loop. If a Bond unlock matters to you, treat it as a before-the-finale item and check the Points of No Return checklist.
Can you finish Companion Missions after the ending?
Plan as if you cannot. A chain step is a Mission like any other, and the content closes with the run.
Can you finish Den upgrades after the ending?
Do not rely on it. If a project has to land in this run, it has to land before the ending rather than after it.
Can you finish regional rewards after the ending?
Treat them as before-the-finale content. A reward that pays out immediately has to be earned while there are still Missions to earn it across.
Does Zero Company have New Game+?
No. The publisher’s FAQ says there is no New Game Plus, and that a subsequent playthrough unlocks certain customization options instead.
What carries over to a new campaign?
The publisher confirms that some customization options unlock on subsequent playthroughs, but this site’s production dataset does not contain a verified, complete carryover list. Nothing on this page is built on one.
Does anything unlock after beating the game?
Some customization options are confirmed to unlock on subsequent playthroughs. The specific list is not fully verified here, so this page does not name them.
Can you replay with the same squad?
You can field the same Operators again in a new campaign. That is a replay of the same choices, not an inheritance system — there is no New Game Plus carrying them across.
Can you reload before the final mission?
Community reports say reloading a completed run returns you to before the final mission rather than to a post-credits state. That is an observation, and Beskar restricts rollback, so confirm your own save setting before you commit.
Do choices change the ending?
Zero Company has a lot of decisions, and they demonstrably change what happens during the campaign, who you bring and what you unlock. Whether the ending state itself branches is a different question, and it is not recovered from the dataset this site publishes.
Are there multiple endings?
Not verified. Choices change campaign states and relationships, and this page does not classify those as separate endings without a verified ending graph.
Why does the final mission still give rewards?
Because the last Mission resolves like any other Mission does. Rewards arriving at the end are not a sign that a postgame is waiting behind them.
What should I do after beating Zero Company?
Review what you missed, check which achievements are still open, and decide what you want to be different next run. The campaign puts more on the board than one run can hold, so a second run is planning rather than grinding.
Two things this page is not: it is not the final-mission walkthrough, and it is not a carryover list. The first belongs to the mission page; the second does not exist yet in anything this site can verify.
